To have opponents, you have to hurt people

And a politician thinks that threatening and inflicting pain is the quickest way. 5000 € fine, then the vaccination problem is quickly and thoroughly settled. Nice and technical. With the dictator’s only means: the threat of pain.

No matter what’s wrong with the people. Fear, insecurity, reasonable doubt. It doesn’t matter. The threat to smash one’s teeth in almost always works. In every torture dictatorship. Now a million times. Just like that. Technical problem solved. Emotionless.

And then someone hears this and thinks he doesn’t want to endure such threats any more and comes up with the idea of inflicting fear and pain on the politician after all. Quid pro quo.

And another one hears the politician’s words, thinks he can’t get to him after all and goes out with his revolver and shoots a boy behind the petrol station counter…. It generates fear too. Quid pro quo, he also thinks.

That’s how the politician makes this country into an ever bigger slaughterhouse, and he likes it that way. He likes having power. He likes to measure himself in battle. People like him create the hell in which man has to live. Because they enjoy fighting in hell. And in order to have opponents, he has to hurt people. Then maybe a few fight back and then he can slaughter with pleasure.

Primitive. Beastly. Destructive. Despicable. Unworthy dealing with human beeings.

Pain must never be allowed to guide us. Our actions grow out of the fearless knowledge of our security in the meaning, of our soulfulness and of the eternal unity of everything. We always act in love for everything and everyone. There is no inner separation. Pain alone must never guide us.
