How naive I was. With my letter to the MPs. With my desire to enlighten them about structural grievances that – I know this now; shortly afterwards, amazingly, I learned it – have been brought to the table over and over again for more than a century by politicians, spiritual leaders and scientific coriphae, admonishingly and full of concern….
The question really is: are politicians – in this country – stupid and ignorant in a naive way, or are they conscienceless, corrupt (some perhaps just spineless and cowardly) and yet know *exactly what they are doing*. And who they benefit. And what criminal consequences on humanity arise from their decisions….?
