Separation – fear – hate

Does the hatred arise from a closing up of the soul sense or too great an outflow of soul power? Is this lack of soul force that we then experience causal for developing the feeling of hatred toward the causer – if there is one that can be identified – or toward the one we hold responsible for our lack? Is the hatred of separation a necessarily operating mechanism that sets in when the soul force has dwindled to too great an extent and the material mind force, based on separation, prevails to an enormous degree? Caused by a traumatic shock that permanently closes the soul sense and creates a life of hatred, or by a short-term situation of energy drain that causes the feeling of hatred to flare up in us briefly and surprisingly. The creation outside of man does not know hate as a reason for its actions. Then, does not hatred lie in our being human? Does it not then lie in the presence of our separating intellect, which, once it is not supplemented by the soul force and sheltered in its fear of loneliness, furiously strives for the total annihilation of everything separated from it?

Thus, fear is the precursor of hatred. At the moment of fright or trauma, our mental perception narrows and makes way for our material senses to a large extent. Adrenalin shoots into our veins and we are only seeing, hearing, feeling, smelling and tasting in extreme sensitivity. The result is an almost complete reversion to our material existence and the associated feeling of separation. We are now only our body. A throwback to loneliness, physical death. Not much is left that keeps us secure in oneness, beyond material existence. Fear is completely material. To the spiritualized man it is thus inevitably unknown. If the fear is still a feeling with a pure self-reference – the worry about the own material existence -, then the hate arises, if this fear is directed in the next step on another – in this moment – as separate perceived being, which is assumed as causer of this fear. The sequence is always: separation – fear – hatred – return to some degree of unity…. or destruction.

Pain must never be allowed to guide us. Our actions grow out of the fearless knowledge of our security in the meaning, of our soulfulness and of the eternal unity of everything. We always act in love for everything and everyone. There is no inner separation. Pain alone must never guide us.
