It is a fact that we can see the past in the other. It is a fact that we can see the future. It is a fact that we can feel what our neighbour is feeling.
But most of the time we feel and we don’t know. So it’s all just coincidence and vague talk.
When I am in the Alps, I see the mountains. When I’m by the sea, I don’t see them. It would be nonsense to claim that because I can’t see them from everywhere, there are no mountains at all.
Situations are not always the same, even if it may seem so to the mind.
Whoever is in the Alps and is convinced that now and all his life he will always be by the sea, will overlook even the biggest mountains. And whoever sees them and tells him about them, he will not believe them….
Some, however, stand in the middle on an unimaginably high tower. They see the sea and the mountains only by turning their heads.
