In space and time there is only matter. Matter takes over matter. Matter spreads over matter. Material structure obliterates other material structures.
Man is earth. And he destroys the earth by appropriating it and spreading over it. Man destroys himself. Is this self-hatred? The principle of matter against matter? The earth destroying itself through man in the material state of consciousness?
And man destroying himself, is that not also only a consequence of the material principle? A taking of oneself, in the smallest possible way? Singular? The devouring of oneself.
If consciousness has no soul knowledge, then this is exactly what happens.
