Why do I write so much about pain and so little about love?
Love is. It is in our soul aspect. The soul is at rest. It does not act. It is waiting for us to discover it. Love is there. It is waiting for us to discover it. It is all that is and all that is not.
The pain acts and is in motion. It is the substance of separation and has its infinite facets. To recognize it means to redeem it. Once we have redeemed it, we are automatically in love. Quite simply.
That is why I have to talk about pain and not about love.
The mind needs action because the pain needs action. The pain is an indicator. Its appearance means that something must be done. It does not matter whether it is the hot stove top, the love pain in our heart, or a gentle touch on our cheek. Even the mere perception of the pain itself is already an action related to it.
Stimulus – Response.
Perception – Action.
No perception – no stimulus – no action.
No perception – no pain.
No pain – no perception…
Are perception and pain one? Is the mind the pain?
