Wouldn’t animals be just like us if they had the physical capabilities? If they had hands and a brain like ours?
But would you then still be the animal you once were? Wouldn’t you then be – us?
Is the state of consciousness conditioned by the physical form?
Or does consciousness condition physical form?
Can the blackbird kill insects and worms only for survival and perhaps aggressively chase the smaller tits away from the feeder in winter, because in its consciousness the ego can’t show off as in ours due to the physical limitations? Because it cannot develop and use a gun, for example?
Or is the form of the blackbird the form which develops a consciousness which is limited by nature in the destructiveness of its ego? Which does not need hands and mind to „improve“ something, to try in vain to free itself from its fear by controlling the environment. Consciousnesses that can surrender may look like the animals that surrender to Mother Nature and accept everything that is presented to them. Consciousnesses that perceive more spiritually than materially may look like this. Like the blackbird or the titmouse or the hare or the wolf.
