Millions of years ago, there were no mammals, no birds, no insects and no flowering plants. Certainly no humans. There were only dinosaurs and spore plants. The world was in equilibrium.
Then something unknown to us happened and the balance was lost. Now there are mammals, birds, insects and flowering plants. The world is (or better: was) in balance again.
The equilibrium is always restoring itself. Only the human consciousness flooded by the five senses strives for one-sidedness. It does this in itself and it tries it with the same fatal consequences in the world.
