How can a society of living beings, capable of foreseeing that their lives will end in death, so vehemently exclude the fact of death from their lives? How can it be that this question is not dealt with? Yes, that most of the forces of society are not busy making this aspect of life accessible to people. And thus freeing them from their fear of death and restoring to them happiness on earth? How can it be that the most influential fact in human life is treated as if it did not exist? How can a whole society behave so childishly, like a child whistling in the woods out of fear or closing its eyes in a dark cellar so as not to perceive anything scary? How can humanity develop in such an immature – and unobjective – way?
Because the mind rules and with it the pure survival instinct. The existence of mind would be reduced to absurdity in its eyes if death were to become a part of life. We would then have the whole human in paradise on earth.
