What has happened that the world is now only half? What has happened? The Enlightenment committed a momentous error of interpretation and developed a catastrophic error of action from it.
What did she perceive? Charlatanism. Hysteria. Harmful behavior based on perceptions that have been falsely regarded as soulful, spiritual, as „coming from God.“ Or which have been sold to people as such.
What did she not perceive? That all what she denounced and condemned as nonsense had nothing to do with the existence of our soulness. Quite the contrary. What she saw were the excesses of the earthly, of the ego, of the mind, born from the deep feeling of fear and loneliness of the ego or from its desire for profit and the attempt to deceive its fellow men. For power for money. Whatever the earthly in us humans is willing to surrender to. It was misunderstanding and misuse of the fact of our beingness, what the Enlightenment thinkers, without understanding it, had seen. And what they equated with the existence of the soul, of the immaterial. The truth, on which the humbug was based, was not recognized by them as such, but was equated with the humbug. There was actually no truth for them. There were only the irrational ideas that nourished and gave rise to humbug. The Enlightenment thinkers were reasoners. This means that they could perceive only with the five senses and not with the spiritual sense. So they saw only absurd doing and thinking, dependence on irrational ideas, which obstructed the view of the truth, the materialism. If they had been able to perceive with the soul sense, then they could have distinguished between hysteria and charlatanry on one side and the truth of the soul existence on the other. Instead, they saw only the aberrations of the mind and with them banished the truth that it twisted.
The mind is still acquisitive, egoistic, fearful, hysterical and what all it is still in its loneliness of material being. Only in other areas. Realms that are accessible to the five senses. Earthly realms. This is not nice for the enlightened man, but it just happens on a real basis. So he can accept it. Better than if the basis would be something indefinable divine.
