Communism is based on the equality of people. This corresponds to the spiritual principle. Only this equality is sought in the membership of a certain material class. But on this material level no lasting equality is possible. It fails because of the principle of separation and pain inherent in matter. The proclaimed leadership out of necessity and not out of the desire for power must thus also fail. If an equality on the soul level were sought in communism, an equality in God, then the singleness of the ego could be overcome and people could realize the meaning. Then true humble leaders could take responsibility, driven not by a fearful desire for power but by powerful greatness. As long as the ego of the individual is not overcome, there can be no equality among people. And the ego can be overcome only by replacing it with soul knowledge. Without soul realization, any attempt at real and lasting unification among people will have to fail.
