With every „necessary“ act we narrow our consciousness step by step. From the perception of eternity down to a space 10cm around the body (and less). Very very narrow it becomes. Very very tough and sticky. A black rubber bubble we are in. Nothing exists any more outside the problem to be overcome. In this state, you don’t have to tell anyone about eternity. This is what happened to me today when I unsuccessfully changed the fuel pump on my 25-year-old car for hours on end.
A state in which man is permanently held in materialism. Every decision, every thought, every confrontation, every purchase, every evaluation, every listening, reading and judging, every parking, turning, accelerating, braking at the traffic lights, every glance at the speedometer, every glance at the smartphone, at the watch is such a problem that narrows the focus of consciousness very very narrowly down to -10cm. He can experience nothing of his existence in eternity. All that exists for him is the preoccupation with things and situations that require concern and attention. Around the clock and without interruption.
It is pointless to try to have an effect on such a consciousness….
