Everything that is beyond the reach of our five senses, we do not become aware of. „Expansion of consciousness“ on the level of our five senses has always taken place only through media. If in the past it was the traveler who informed about distant events, later it was the newspaper and then the radio, television and finally the Internet. The sensory experiences of others who were in faraway places were taken, transported through space (and time) and then made available to our senses as acoustic or visual impressions.
Whereas we used to think that we were only concerned with things and events within our own „horizon“, we are now also concerned with events outside the radius of our direct perception, as if they were on our doorstep. The „circle of vision“ has expanded.
Even with the current technical media for the „expansion of consciousness“ in the material sense, we can only survey a microscopically small area of the world, of the universe, of creation. Nearly everything what „happens“ and „is“ remains hidden to our consciousness in spite of all technical possibilities. The predominant part of the world moves, changes, acts, heals, destroys, „happens“ and „is“ therefore completely without that we could influence on it in the slightest or would even become aware of it.
To us as individuals who can act within their circle of perception and who have expanded their sphere of action – their consciousness – beyond the innate horizon of their five senses through technical possibilities, awareness seems to be the means of choice when it comes to solving problems. If I hear the faucet dripping, I go and see it and turn it off tightly. If I hear words and see actions of someone on the other side of the world that I don’t like, then I send an intercontinental ballistic missile to his roof. Awareness determines our actions and leads to the solution of problems. I recognize the cause and act accordingly.
That’s how man does it. Only: How does it work with the big, big rest of the creation which exists without „making conscious“. Yes, how does it work at all with our existence, which has also entered into life without any „making conscious“ and now moves on through time and space? How does it work with each breath, with each heartbeat, with each of our small cycles? Awareness? No. (Autonomous nervous system. I know. But what about it then?) In spite of all media for the expansion of the material consciousness the human being must admit to himself that his method is only a niche model. The creation exists without the need of consciousness. And so one way, which the human being must also notice and finally commit, is that of the non-consciousness. Acting without having to become aware of it. Healing without having to become aware of it. Just as the heavens and the earth are and how they support everything and shield everything. Non-conscious. The way we as humans probably already act, react, even exist 99.9% of the time anyway. Our non-consciousness is only not yet conscious to us. Thus, treading the path of non-consciousness actually lies in turning away from our compulsion to constantly be conscious and recognizing how much non-consciousness actually constitutes our existence. And to recognize how much the mental power determines our life and how small the share of the highly valued material power actually is.
