If I’m standing in a kitchen and I want to sacrifice some of the food and I’m unable to take it outside, I put it in the trash.
In the trash?!?
Why not in the trash? Isn’t God everywhere? Even in what we name and evaluate as „garbage“? There is no difference between me and the trash. God is in everything equally.
Then why do not you eat the part
himself? When God is equally in
You and is in the trash?
This has something to do with consciousness. The spiritual is one. The material does not seem to be. My consciousness gives material substance freely to another consciousness system. The selfless liberality makes this a divine action. I give away. With it I give to God. It is the circular argument of self-love as prerequisite for universal love, the love for the neighbor, which becomes the love for me.
In a sacrifice the unity, the only true, because only being, is realized.
