Does fate expect something from us?

Maybe the spirits or gods or fate expect something different from some people than from others. Maybe I have to take care of them more and more often than others and in this way I am limited in my possibilities to deviate from my way. To other people perhaps other expectations are put in connection with other „restrictions“.

The fact that different expectations are placed on people at the soul level – indeed, that there can be such a thing as purposeful expectations there at all – is alienating for many people.

But what is an expectation? Isn’t it just another word with which we, as thinking beings, distinguish ourselves from the rest of existence? We think that we recognize certain connections, forecast, judge and produce an expectation from it.

But is this demarcation perhaps only deception? Doesn’t what we call expectation perhaps happen on all levels of being and we just don’t have a concept for it (and therefore don’t recognize it)? Recognizing, judging… are perhaps not such human qualities, but only the expression of universal processes, which take place on all levels – without a „thinking“ being initiating this there? Thinking is then also a universal characteristic of being. Something which also takes place always and everywhere. Just nameless. Nameless and therefore not recognizable for our mind.

So there can be judgments also without a personified God. Judgments that arise without quasi-human thinking. Based on eternal truths. Expectations placed on the individual by an impersonal destiny – Providence.

So perhaps all our being in its thinking and acting is only an expression of the unity. Something, would we not always name it so particularly and thus narrow it only to us and our existence, would be recognizable in every aspect of the visible and invisible world. Perhaps this is the origin of the personalized conceptions of gods and spirits. The notion that the behaviors we ascribe to ourselves so specifically and uniquely have their validity in every aspect of creation and so are recognizable. Then the invisible movers must be human after all! Or the other way around…. we must be divine…. we are part of the One. And nothing about us is special. Not even our much praised and so elitist „reason“.

Pain must never be allowed to guide us. Our actions grow out of the fearless knowledge of our security in the meaning, of our soulfulness and of the eternal unity of everything. We always act in love for everything and everyone. There is no inner separation. Pain alone must never guide us.
