If a person goes to a healer and afterwards goes home healthy again, then his decision to visit the healer, the work of the healer and the fact of his recovery are three independent „things“. The idea of a connection on the material level – the idea of cause and effect – is an illusion. The things are and are and are. And they are independent of each other. Even if it appears to us completely different. Their connection exists in their soul aspect. There they are united without a „before“ (cause) and without an „after“ (effect) in a whole. Thus their connection is an eternal one. The decision of the human being to visit the healer – the work of the healer – the recovery of the human being: All this stands side by side. Everything has to happen (or better: „be“) in this way, but nothing of it affects the other. If the person would not be healed, it would be in no connection with his decision and the work of the healer. It would be only that what should be (or better: „that what is“).
This eternal connection of all being is not comprehensible for our mind. The existence of everything in its form independent of space and time is not processable for the mind. So it packs its perception of what actually is „always and eternal“ into its construction of space and time. Thereby it creates the illusion of cause and effect. That’s why we are so perplexed and unsure about the future. That is why everything seems to us so arbitrary and without sense. That is why we fear fate with its sudden and unexpected blows. That is why we feel lonely and abandoned by God. What the mind can offer us is not complete. This incompleteness leads us astray and thus to wrong conclusions. That’s why plans tend to go wrong….
