Capitalistic, materialistic rationalism stretches the spring of the world’s course further and further. It groans and moans and stretches the spring further and further. Far beyond its breaking point. It cannot stop. It MUST go on and on. There is no rest and there is no going back. And on he goes groaning his round and the round is so big he thinks he is going straight. At some point, the point comes when rationalism can no longer. He has exhausted himself tensioning the spring, which he simply could not leave in its resting tension – its natural resting point between tension and rest. The lever slips out of his hands and what he feared and prepared himself day after day, hour after hour, happens: The spring relaxes explosively with all its pent-up force and tears everything around it to shreds. All the violence that was done to it was stored by it and now breaks its way. Back. The way back into the harmonious resting tension. This is the extreme where the pendulum turns. The spiral goes beyond its resting point and swings back. And back and forth. It shakes the world. At some point, it comes back to the center. Rationalism lies in pieces and man, or what is left of him, looks very small and weakly at the so wonderfully resting and yet tension-strong spring. Looks how it trembles slightly and vibrates in harmony with the cosmos. And man leans his ear against it and hears the sounds of the spheres. He experiences the truth and remains secure in it. Until he invents the lever again sometime and puts it on the spiral – and it tightens and tightens and tightens again…… These are the ages. These are the cycles. How tense is the spring already? One thing is certain: it will not break.
