Break in the shoe

It was a very intense weekend. No question about it. But I realized: This shoe doesn’t fit me. The other events were like comfortable slippers for me. I could walk quite comfortably in them. This weekend was exhausting for me. For me it was as if I had to stumble around in high heels the whole time.“ sums up one participant at the end of a weekend event.

„I think you’ll find that the shoe doesn’t pinch because it doesn’t fit, but because it’s new. If you wear it for a while, it will be just as comfortable as your other slippers that you are so comfortable with. Some things start with helpless stumbling around. That’s just the way it is. See if you like the shoe. The color, the shape. And if you like it, take your time and break it in. Get to know it. I think then it will no longer be a high heel shoe for you. In fact, for you it will be more like walking barefoot across a spring meadow,“ I reply.

Pain must never be allowed to guide us. Our actions grow out of the fearless knowledge of our security in the meaning, of our soulfulness and of the eternal unity of everything. We always act in love for everything and everyone. There is no inner separation. Pain alone must never guide us.
