Fear must not be shown. The resulting feelings of anger and hatred are not allowed. Yet the pain from which fear results is the basis of the material system. So the rules of this system in the form of sanctions and punishments serve to protect the system from its own effects – from itself. Hence people’s aversion to restrictions, because the restrictions, the commandments, of the material system merely suppress pain. Every person instinctively knows that there are no solutions to pain in this system. And he knows that the system, in order to preserve itself, must not allow anything other than itself. So it fights with all means to keep the pain and fights by suppression in the same course the inherent (self-) destructive symptoms. So it fights inside and outside. It fights always and everywhere. Thus the circle closes.
