If we could move at infinite speed, then we could be everywhere at the same time. Is it the suffering of being trapped in our bodies – of being limited – that is the intoxication of speed? Is it this suffering that explains our human urge to expand?
Is the attempt to be able to go everywhere as quickly as possible and to stay there as part of humanity based on the fact that we want to do the same as our immaterial selves? Is that the collective desire? Is that where humanity stands for the one? Be it the bicycle or the attempt to populate the universe. Is this the cause of our rushing and our „No time!“?
Is it the inner longing for omnipresence that drives us like this? The desire to return to paradise and to give up the limited body?
Is this perhaps the only reason for the capers of the mind? Is that why man in his center has only the desire to be in the right place? Not to race. And not to expand. Because he has recognized a glimmer of the paradise to which everyone will return sometime?
