The outside protects the inside. This is one side of harmony. In a world that denies or at best disregards the inner, the outer protects only itself and other outer, material aspects of being. It exploits the inner force for its own protection and fights against other-minded externals. Be it another lonely outer force or be it an emancipated ego. For the lonely ego everything is ultimately outside and must be fought.
Pain must never be allowed to guide us. Our actions grow out of the fearless knowledge of our security in the meaning, of our soulfulness and of the eternal unity of everything. We always act in love for everything and everyone. There is no inner separation. Pain alone must never guide us.
