Via the streams of consciousness information and states of material and mental nature are transmitted. This happens in the ideal case in a balance interwoven relationship of experiences of material separation and experiences of soul unity.
In material society, the weight of the material experience of separation and pain is disproportionately increased in this transmission. Despite this preponderance of material information, soul information of oneness is still transmitted via the streams of consciousness.
Radio, television and now Internet are the attempt of the mind to create its own channel, independent of the streams of consciousness, in which now really exclusively material information corresponding to the material dogma can be spread and a transmission of soul information is completely excluded. This succeeds by the fact that these channels, in contrast to the streams of consciousness, are completely material. It is true that in the channels of the mind apparently also something like unity is transmitted. But this unity is always only related to groups and thereby always a separation and demarcation from other groups, persons, opinion, views. Since information is based on opinion, it is always separation and never unity.
Via the streams of consciousness the mental information of the absolute one oneness of everything – also the oneness of all opinions of this world – is transmitted. This does not correspond to the self-understanding of the unemancipated mind.
