Alpacas

Sometime later I was talking to someone about wool and alpacas or something like that. I don’t remember exactly. The interlocutor said in any case, „If you then have three alpacas, and the demand for the product is high, yes then you have to have five at once already and then later ten. And then you have also only stress.“ The question, why I could not remain then with three Alpacas, but must have five and later ten, he could not answer me also. But so he was caught in the thinking that all action must be worship for the god of the market economy (the mind). All action must be designed to fulfill his laws. You must maximize profit and dedicate yourself to it with body and soul!

Back to the beginning: this is not how our destiny can unfold. And „unfolding destiny“ does not mean that the great mission of a Mother Teresa is waiting for all of us, or that we absolutely have to do something „great“ or „good“. We can wait a long time for that. This is again the pigeonhole of our mind, which necessarily wants something special for us. A sole position characteristic. Our destiny can also be small. It is not necessarily bigger than that of the robin that visits me every day in the garden. The primeval hunter had a small destiny. But it could be fulfilled. And he was at peace with body and soul during his life and also at the end. He knew about his mortality and it was a natural part of the cycle for him. It was like falling asleep and waking up for him. It’s nice not to have a big destiny. Who could know how to take it!

Pain must never be allowed to guide us. Our actions grow out of the fearless knowledge of our security in the meaning, of our soulfulness and of the eternal unity of everything. We always act in love for everything and everyone. There is no inner separation. Pain alone must never guide us.
