As I sit here at my desk writing these words and you sit in your home reading these words, the causes are rooted in the beginning of time. From the material point of view. From the point of view of space and time. The events of both our lives have brought us together. The events in the lives of our parents brought them together and established our existence. The events in our grandparents‘ lives brought them together and established our parents‘ existence. The events in our great-grandparents‘ lives ….We continue in this way. About our great-great-grandparents, our great-great-great-grandparents, our great-great-great-great-grandparents, on, on about the ape-man who came down from the tree and begat our ancestors with his mate. Who then gave birth to them, suckled them and nourished them. About the being, half fish, half land being, who once left the water and went ashore, there found a mate and gave birth to our even more distant ancestors. The being that became the fish, the being that was before the fish, the being that was only a cell and created our ancestors from its own division. The earth without being. The solar system without earth, which then once gave birth to the earth. The galaxy without our sun. The universe without galaxies. That what was before. Unimaginable. All this eternal happening, each of the just described developments and the billion-billion developments which lay in between, led to the fact that we are there. That we are at this very point, I am writing this text and you are reading it. The push for this was made ages ago. And we are nudging something again, influenced by other things, whose origin is also in the beginning of being, and continue this chain. To the end of time… Isn’t that big? Isn’t that so big that a strange feeling creeps over us? A feeling, as if we wanted to understand something, but we simply do not come behind it, although the solution seems to us to the grasp? This comprehension cannot be done by thinking. It cannot be expressed. If we want to grasp that, then we must say goodbye to the perception of time and space and perceive with our soul sense. Then we recognize the great fabric, the eternal connection of what we call yesterday or tomorrow, what we call here or there. Then we realize that everything is only the one. As different as it appears to us in the world of things. Whenever and wherever it appears to us to be. Then it is no longer so unimaginably big. And we can go in peace. The strange feeling fades away and peace returns.
