If I give myself absolutely to a thing, then it can fulfil me completely. I am only connected to it and all other connections no longer have any meaning.
Mostly, however, the connection in a group still plays a role when this group represents the thing.
Outside the group, all other groups, persons and their feelings are then sacrificed to the cause. Whether one suffers or dies: It no longer takes on any meaning, because there is no connection at these levels. This is what happened in National Socialism, for example.
Absolute devotion to a cause can only work without damage if it embraces everyone and everything. When no one is left out.
So then it doesn’t matter which group someone belongs to. One is not in any entanglement with it. So the emotional state of the other is not decisive for oneself, one is not entangled in it.
And yet one is not separated from anyone, because there is the connection on the level of the soul. And for that reason alone, one cannot ignore or leave out anything and anyone. Because the thing that one serves serves everything and everyone. If it serves everything and everyone, then its root is founded in the soul. Group connections or emotional connections then no longer have any meaning. They can then no longer distract or confuse us from the cause.
Gebe ich mich einer Sache absolut hin, dann kann sie mich völlig erfüllen. Ich bin nur noch mit ihr verbunden und alle anderen Verbindungen haben keine Bedeutung mehr.
Meistens spielt aber noch die Verbindung in einer Gruppe eine Rolle, wenn diese Gruppe die Sache repräsentiert.
Außerhalb der Gruppe werden dann alle anderen Gruppen, Personen und ihre Gefühle der Sache geopfert. Ob gelitten oder gestorben wird: Es bekommt keine Bedeutung mehr, denn auf diesen Ebenen besteht keine Verbindung. So z. B. im Nationalsozialismus geschehen.
Absolute Hingabe an eine Sache kann nur ohne Schäden funktionieren, wenn sie alle und alles umfasst. Wenn niemand außen vor gelassen wird.
So ist es dann egal, welcher Gruppe jemand angehört. Man ist in keiner Verstrickung damit. So ist die Gefühlslage des Anderen nicht für einen selbst ausschlaggebend, ist man doch nicht darin verstrickt.
Und doch ist man von niemandem getrennt, denn es besteht die Verbindung auf der Ebene der Seele. Und allein deshalb kann man nichts und niemanden ignorieren oder außen vorlassen. Denn die Sache, der man dient, dient allem und jedem. Dient sie allem und jedem, dann ist ihre Wurzel im Seelischen gegründet. Gruppenverbindungen oder Gefühlsverbindungen haben dann keine Bedeutung mehr. Sie können uns dann nicht mehr von der Sache ablenken oder verwirren.
