If I see dogs that are fully cared for and lead a life as eternal children without any task or classification in the system of the family, then I see egocentric tyrants with claims of dominance over food, inventory and people. Tricksters who know exactly how to use emotional violence or trickery to achieve their goals. If I see children who have grown up fully provided for, who have not been assigned a position in the family with a corresponding communal task and classification, then I see self-centered little bullies with low frustration thresholds, low tolerance for deviation from their ideas, and destructive and frightening fits of rage when things don’t go their way.
Both dogs (ekind) and humansḱind tend to violence (emotional violence is also violence) to enforce their goals. If I see dogs that were allowed to grow up because they grew up in freedom and if I see children that did not grow up fully provided for and had to fulfill their tasks in the family at an early age, then I see the opposite. Then I see beings who cultivate a sense of community and cooperation. Who perceive the other and his needs and integrate them into their actions. Who work together. Who approach problems with composure and solution orientation.
If I consider this, then I come back to satiety as the cause for the exaggerated dominance of our mind. Where man settles down and the natural inner structure of hunter-gatherer gets lost because of material abundance, there is much more room for the ego-related gymnastic exercises of the mind. It can test without consequences how far it can go.
And to make matters worse, the mind has realized that it can fully pocket the material world with its methods. He has found out that he has unbelievable success with an action, based exclusively on his egocentric child premises, if he does not need the other one for survival.
As the times became more and more saturated for the „strong“ egos, so the egos became stronger and stronger. The stronger they became, the more they changed the world in their image. The more they did, the more there was for them. The more there was for them, the stronger they became. This went on until no one could remember how it had come about and how the world had been before.
